History
The
villa has belonged to my family since the end of the 19th century
and was completely restored in 1996, we have always hosted our best friends and clients in this property
allowing them to reach Florence, but almost all the
beauties of Tuscany, within a hour.
We started renting it in 1997 and our guests come from
all over the globe and some of them come back again every year.

Description of the
property
La Nievolina" is a lovely villa with swimming pool
set among the
Tuscan hills close to Florence, Lucca and Pisa and to all best
spots in Tuscany. The villa is rented weekly
(saturday/saturday) all year long
and is equipped with all the best comforts and furnished in a old
Tuscan style.
It can accommodate up to 9 guests (10 with extra bed) and has a patio,
porch and gardens for playing, suntanning, resting and
relaxing.
We've got sunbeds and chairs all along the park which is mown
to let you walk or jog around.

Technology
- The satellite tv will let you be updated
on world facts (Sky News, Cnn, Foxnews plus tens of other languages channels) and your children will be happy to
watch the cartoon network, disney channel and other educational channels.
- A computer with a free Internet access (just pay the call to
the local provider) is available and helps you to check
your email or find more useful information about your
trip here in Tuscany.
In case you bring along your own notebook you can use
our own connection to surf the web and to send or download
all your mail in your favourite email client.
If your notebook, palm or smartphone have a wi-fi card you can use our
free wi-fi hotspot to be connected and surf even if resting and relaxing
on a sunchair!
You won't have to search for an internet cafe anymore!!!
- The DVD player and almost a hundred videos
available will let you
have the choice to watch movies, cartoons, documentaries...
- If music is an important part of your life you'll love
the stereo set with cd and cassette player. We
also provide a set of professional headphones for a easy
listening.
- We also have a fax machine wich you can use to
receive or send important documents and a digital
answering machine wich you can turn on and off anytime
you want
The Swimming Pool
The pool is above ground but is set among olive
trees and gives you the opportunity to have a wonderful
view of the valley.
It's length (7 meters) and width (3.5 meters) are enough to
host parties of 8 and is usually warmed by the sun on hot days
allowing you to have a magic sensation when you get in.
The sun terrace to the pool will let you enjoy your stay,
suntanning and relaxing.
The pool and the sun terrace are next to the villa so all you
have to do is... relax.
The pool is opened form the middle of June until the middle
of September.

Villa "La Nievolina" is children friendly!
Yes! We take care of your children and we want their
holiday to be an experience to remember.
- The garden around the villa is completely fenced so they
can play freely.
- We provide our little guests with table games as well as
outdoor games
- Up to 3 baby cots available free of charge
- Up to 3 high chairs
available free of charge
- in the park, near the swimming pool and the badminton
area, there are seats and tables for them.
- the "Cartoon Network" and our cartoon videos
will surely make them happy!
Nearby Attractions
The villa is just 10 min. drive from the train station, there
you'll be able to take the trains (2/3 per hour) leaving for
downtown Florence (35/45 minutes away). All the art cities and
medieval villages are less than 1 hour away. You can plan your
trip to be able to see all the best art cities. Montecatini
Terme's spa and parks and the medieval village of Montecatini
Alto, and its panorama on the valley, are just 5 minutes away.
We've got tennis, golf, pool and everything you need in a short
drive.

You can surf the web for free using our pc or if you bring
your notebook you can connect to our WIFI lan and surf
the web as you were at home or business.
You can connect as many notebook, palm, smartphone or
any other devices provided with a wifi adapter as you
want (up to 250).

your email or work this is the place for you and your
party.

Sports and fun at "La Nievolina"
At the villa you'll be able to spend your
holidays rest and relaxing on the hammock, suntanning by the
pool, reading one of the books of our English library or
you can practice your favourite sport.
- Golf : the course is located in a hilly area close to the ancient house of Leonardo da Vinci. Small greens with difficult lines present the major

- Tennis: we've
got 2 tennis courts 5 minutes away and tennis clubs in
Montecatini Terme. Click

If you're a tennis player but you don't want to bring
your raquets along with you just let me know the grip size
and I'll provide 2 raquets and 10 tennis balls for your matches.
If you would like to play tennis but don't have a
companion in your party I'll be more than happy to be
your sparring partner.
- Ping Pong: we have a professional ping pong table. We provide rackets and balls.
- Badminton: we also have a non-professional badminton
court set among the olive trees. It's the ideal spot for
children and adults. We provide raquets and balls.

Bikes rentals: it's now possible to rent bikes (city bikes and
mountain bikes) for your holidays at the villa. Minimum rental
is a week per bike.
Please note that bikes need to be booked prior to your
arrival, please inform us at least 60 days before the
rental begins.

fishing lake: Do you enjoy fishing? If you do
rest and relax by the lake wich is just 5 minutes away
from the villa.

How to reach US
Getting to the "La Nievolina" is easy. We're close
to the highway and the train station of Montecatini
Terme, both about 10
minutes away by car. The Thermal
Spa is reachable in few minutes taking the
panoramic road to Montecatini
We provide road and city maps, tourists guides, trains
schedules, brochures of the area to help you plan your tour
around.
The villa is next to the small village of Nievole,
less than a mile, where you can find the church, a post
office, some restaurants and a little food store. Montecatini
Alto, a lovely medieval village at the top of a
hill,
is just less than 2 miles far away from the Villa, on the panoramic
road to Montecatini Terme. It's known for the fantastic view
overlooking all the valley almost up to the seaside and for
some lovely shops and restaurants.
